The Belfast Sliders Softball Club held their annual awards dinner on Saturday 1st November 2025 to celebrate the successes of its players during the 2025 season. Thank you to everyone who attended the dinner and made the evening so much fun.

On Saturday 12th April 2025, the Belfast Sliders made the journey to ALSAA in Dublin for the annual Softball Ireland Brian Walshe Cup – the unofficial start to the Irish softball season.

Welcome to the new website for Belfast Sliders Softball Club. Over the past few weeks Andrew has been working hard to refresh the site, upload historical statistics and improve the ways in which new players can contact the club.

The Sliders have been going now for 16 years, and we have amassed a wide range of statistics on each player that has been a part of the team. The website is now updated with the game stats from 2016 onwards, be they league matches, tournaments or friendly games. Follow the link to see a bit of Sliders history.

Belfast Sliders Softball Club pre-season training has returned. Training is taking place Sunday mornings from 11.00am at Dixon Park Playing Fields, Grand Parade, East Belfast. New players are more than welcome to join us at any training session.

The Belfast Sliders Softball Club recently held their annual awards dinner to celebrate the successes of its players in the 2024 season. Thank you to everyone who attended the dinner and made the evening so much fun.

On Sunday 6th October 2024, the Belfast Sliders Softball Club hosted its first ever Club Derby. Almost all club members joined in on the Greens vs. Whites game, hosted at our usual home grounds of Hydebank Playing Fields.

For the Softball Ulster End of Season Blitz, the Belfast Sliders were able to enter two teams into the tournament: Sliders Green and Sliders White. So for the first time ever, there were two Sliders teams participating in an Irish tournament.
