Following on from its abrupt cancellation during lockdown, and the truncated Softball Ulster League season, Sliders Fitness officially returned 11.30am on Sunday 20th September 2020 at Hydebank Parks and Playing fields.
Sliders Fitness aims to keep team members active during the softball off-season, comprising of an hour-long regime organised by team members (and resident fitness expert) Laura O’Connor. The programme of activities will change from week to week, but will include: stretches, circuits, running exercises and fitness assessment. All activities will, of course, come with the usual sprinkling of Sliders banter!
Fitness takes place on Sunday mornings from 11.30am at Hydebank Parks and Playing Fields (the new home of the Belfast Sliders). Anyone who has an interest in improving their general fitness and keeping their muscles active during the winter are welcome to join.
